Whenever we are getting together people say "please bring your mushroom thing!" So here goes....
3 or 4 large button mushroom
1/2 pkg. Philly cream cheese(the lg. size)
1 tbs. butter
1 egg yolk
2 tbs.chopped onion (regular yellow)
Chop mushrooms and stems, set aside. Soften butter and cream cheese. Mix all ingredients together, spread on garlic rounds and run under the broiler. Sometimes i sprinkle parmesan cheese before broiling.
