Cold Winter's Night Beef & Macaroni

Recipe from from Carolyn, BabyCenter.com Recipe Swap Board

"Here is a recipe I like to make for dinner on cold winter evenings," writes Carolyn. "I like it because it is simple, has ingredients that are usually around, and everyone usually loves it."

1 lb ground beef
1 chopped onion
1 chopped green pepper
2-3 cloves garlic, minced
2 16 oz cans tomato sauce
1 16 oz can tomatoes
1 16 oz bag frozen corn
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
Tabasco sauce (to taste)
8 oz uncooked macaroni

Saute ground beef, onion, green pepper, garlic until beef is browned. Cut up canned tomatoes. Add all ingredients except macaroni. Simmer for at least 15 minutes - can do longer. Boil macaroni in a separate pan to al dente. Drain macaroni and add to ground beef mixture. Serve with oven baked rolls (we like the Crescent rolls). Serves 4.

As with most recipes, feel free to try variations on this - whatever you or your family like!
