Something that really speaks my language is when Dr. Dobson
addresses which vacation kids remember. “Was it the vacations
they took together or the trips to Disney World or the zoo?
No, they told him. It was when he would get on the floor and
wrestle with the four of them. They would gang-tackle the "old
man" and laugh until their sides hurt. That's the way children
think. The most meaningful activities within families are often
those that focus on that which is spontaneous and personal.”
If you can remember this advice whatever you do this summer,
you will be on the right track to a meaningful summer.

your vacation in a practical format. You can discover how to
plan your vacation online with their 4-step guide. Find tips
for traveling with the kids and lots of game and activity ideas.
Another favorite section of mine is the one with guidelines
for making a memorable vacation. It reminds readers to try something
different. How many times do we get stuck going right back to
the same vacation spot because it is familiar rather than embracing
vacation with an adventuresome attitude.
This site is helpful for those planning a big trip or just
for discovering ways to keep the family entertained at home.
