Amazingmoms.com is really an amazing site. I know, it sounds so cliché but I loved it. It is colorful, easy to navigate and chock full of ideas to help you have fun as a family. The Site Index on the left side of the homepage offers many tempting links starting with the Birthday Parties page. Themed parties galore here with a description of what the theme should include. Ideas for crafts, cool cakes, party favors and games are included in each section. If you choose a theme but are not sure of where to find the necessary supplies, a link to a party supply website is available. (Gee, no surprise THERE.)

The Family Fun link offers some great ideas to encourage more family time. It is so important for kids to feel that they belong. I really liked the suggestion of taking a walk and flipping the coin at each corner to see which way to turn. It allows your child an opportunity to make a decision and it's a great way to make your adult self more spontaneous and flexible. Truly a chance to "stop and smell the roses."
Take It From Me offers parents a chance to tell others what has worked for them in the past. Boredom Busters is a fantastic resource to avoid hearing the "B" word from your children. As a matter of fact, any adult visiting this site wouldn't even THINK of mentioning that word. It just isn't possible on this great site! There is just too much cool stuff here. Needless to say, you just have to visit the site and see for yourself. Until next time.
