Who are we?

My name is Angella, and I am a work-at-home freelance writer and web designer. I run this site along with my husband and the occasional cooperation of our sons and our cat-in-residence, Olivia.

We live in the beautiful Pacific Northwestern region of the United States, where we enjoy frequent trips to the coast, glorious weather and stunning scenery to satisfy my hubby's photographic yearnings.

This site is a labor of love for both of us, as well as a means to help other parents in our situation. I left a high-paying job with a lot of respect and responsibility because the 60-hour weeks were starting to wear on me. When I became pregnant several months later, my transition from career woman to work at home mom became a reality. I parlayed my love of computers and books into a part-time business that allowed me to be home with my son, contribute to our financial goals and still find professional fulfillment. I enjoy what I do; even when it feels like I'm going to burst at the seams from stress, deadlines and meeting the demands of a toddler, I still find that I am happiest knowing I'm doing what's best for me and my family.
